These Terms of Service set forth the basic terms and conditions governing the use of the legal information services provided by Lawmadi OS (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").
Lawmadi OS is a legal information service that searches, analyzes, and organizes legal information through 60 expert leaders and real-time verification with the Korea National Law Information Center (SSOT). The Service operates based on official data from the Korea National Law Information Center (Ministry of Government Legislation).
infoBy submitting a legal query, purchasing credits, or completing OTP email verification, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms of Service.
The terms used in these Terms of Service are defined as follows:
- "Service" refers to all functions provided by Lawmadi OS, including legal information search, analysis, and document drafting assistance.
- "User" refers to any person who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
- "Legal Information" refers to law-related information provided through the Service, including statutes, case law, legal interpretations, and analysis results. This is distinct from legal advice.
- "Credits" refers to the prepaid payment units used for legal Q&A within the Service. 1 credit per standard query, 2 credits per expert answer.
Lawmadi OS provides the following services:
- Legal Q&A and legal information analysis
- Statute search and verification through real-time integration with the Korea National Law Information Center
- Domain-specific legal analysis through 60 expert leaders
- Analysis results through a 4-stage verification process
- Legal document drafting assistance

Users must comply with the following when using the Service:
- Users must provide accurate information when using the Service.
- The Service must not be used for illegal purposes or to infringe upon the rights of others.
- The Service must not be misused to create false legal documents or for fraud, threats, or similar activities.
- Users must not interfere with the normal operation of the Service.
- Users must not collect or use other users' personal information without authorization.

Account and Authentication
Email verification (OTP) is required for credit purchases and paid service usage.
- Users enter their email address and verify their identity through a 6-digit code sent to their email.
- Upon successful verification, a session cookie (__session) is created and maintains login status for 30 days.
- Users must not use another person's email for verification or share verification codes with others.
- After 5 failed verification attempts, the code expires and a new one must be requested.
- Sessions are immediately deleted upon logout. Clearing browser cookies will require re-authentication.
Children under the age of 14 may not use the Service without the consent of a legal guardian.
- When a minor aged 14 or older but under 19 purchases credits, it is deemed that the consent of a legal guardian has been obtained.
- Credit purchases made by a minor without the consent of a legal guardian may be cancelled by the legal guardian.

All intellectual property rights for Lawmadi OS content are protected.
- All copyrights and intellectual property rights for the Service's design, logos, text, software, and system configurations belong to Lawmadi OS.
- Users may only use information obtained through the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Reproduction, distribution, transmission, or modification of Service content without prior consent is prohibited.

Limitation of Liability
Lawmadi OS shall not be liable for the following:
- Guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of system-generated responses
- Decisions made by users based on information provided by the Service and their consequences
- Service interruptions due to force majeure such as natural disasters or system failures
- Service usage disruptions caused by the user's own fault
infoSystem responses are for reference purposes only. For final judgments, please consult a qualified legal professional.
The Service may be used through a free plan and paid credit purchases.
- Free Plan: 2 free legal queries per day (resets at 00:00 KST).
- Paid Credits: Purchase credits to use the Service without daily limits. 1 credit per standard query, 2 credits per expert answer.
- Credits never expire once purchased.
- Payments are processed through Paddle (payment processor), which acts as the Merchant of Record and manages taxes and payments.
- Credits cannot be transferred to others or refunded for cash, except as provided in the Refund Policy.
- All displayed prices include applicable taxes (VAT).

Service Changes and Suspension
Lawmadi OS may change or suspend all or part of the Service to improve stability and quality.
- Users will be notified in advance through in-service notices when the Service is changed or suspended.
- In unavoidable cases such as emergency system maintenance or security issues, notification may be provided after the fact.
- No separate compensation will be provided for changes or suspension of free services.
- In case of permanent service termination, users with paid credits will receive refunds for unused credits.
Lawmadi OS may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- When amending the Terms, the changes and effective date shall be notified to users at least 7 days prior to the effective date through in-service notices or email.
- For amendments unfavorable to users, notification shall be provided at least 30 days prior to the effective date, with individual notice via email or other means.
- Users who do not agree with the amended Terms may discontinue use and withdraw from the Service.
- If a user does not expressly object by the effective date after notification, the user is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The interpretation and application of these Terms shall be as follows:
- These Terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- In the event of a dispute arising from Service use, the Seoul Central District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance.
- Users may also utilize alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures, including the Korea Consumer Agency (1372), the Korea Internet & Security Agency Privacy Violation Report Center (118), and the Electronic Commerce Dispute Resolution Committee.
- Matters not stipulated in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and the Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act.
A Privacy Officer has been designated to oversee personal information processing and to handle user complaints and remedies.
